Laps for Limbs Inc is a 501(c)(3) organization that is an ability-focused, community-oriented, non-profit organization that raises awareness and funds for local children and veterans with limb loss and limb differences. To date, the event has raised over $70,000 and participants have completed 2,265 miles in support of local amputees. The event continues to gain support and add unique and meaningful experiences that enrich our communities.
Laps for Limbs events promote accessibility and inclusion, open to people of all abilities and ages. Their walk/run/roll events create community advocacy for amputees, in a family-friendly environment, while raising funds to promote improved quality of life. Funds raised promote improved community and home accessibility, increased availability of adaptive equipment for everyday living, and increased availability of adaptive equipment for participation in recreation and sport.
